Our family usually flies Hawaiian Airlines from San Francisco to Honolulu and Island Air from Honolulu to Molokai. Reserve a rental car in advance with Molokai Car Rental, Alamo, or Budget. All three have franchises at the Molokai Airport (MKK). Ask the car rental agent to mark their complimentary map with the location of Paniolo Hale (our condominium site) and Kaunakakai (the main town).
Because Molokai Airport is located exactly halfway between Paniolo Hale and the main town of Kaunakakai, we recommend that upon receipt of your rental car you drive immediately to Kaunakakai to stock up on provisions. We like to buy enough fish and meat to last a couple days, throw some in the freezer, and BBQ at the community grill at Paniolo Hale.
There are many other stores in Kaunakakai. We encourage you to explore for yourself!
Kaunakakai is about a 35-minute drive to Paniolo Hale. Follow the signs for Maunaloa on State Highway 460 and turn right when you reach the tree-lined Kalua Koi Road with the signage for Paniolo Hale. Turn right on Kakaako Road. Turn left on Lio Place and follow the driveway into Paniolo Hale to the left. Landscape signage will direct you to the M-units.
In order to give our housekeeper time to clean our unit, we request that you plan to arrive no earlier than 3:00 PM on your day of arrival, and that you depart no later than 10:00 AM on the day that you leave.

Pick your mail up from the mail slots on the office lanai. The schedule of the lanai office is apt to change.
Our security agency requests that all guests sign in on the clipboard outside the office lanai. They need to know who is staying in every unit at all times. Please sign in shortly after you arrive. And, please remember that this is our home. We would appreciate it if you would treat it as you would your own home.
